WE ARE LOOKING FOR A: DWE Expert
I. Immediate duties

The jobholder will:

- Read, understand and analyze specific technical documentation and/or clients’ requirements – Design and develop new data warehouse projects – Support existing data warehouse developments – Develop and support Oracle Discoverer EULs and reports – Test the produced developments – Find, repair and remove defects and bugs in the software – Support clients by mail, phone and/or on the spot – Provide timely input into the technical documentation of the modifications brought about – Promptly notify colleagues he/she functionally interacts with about these modifications – Generate innovative approaches – Assist in training new colleagues – Search appropriate advice while encountering difficulties – Take up other specific tasks as assigned, relevant to his/her position according to the team’s or company’s needs

The jobholder:
1. Reports directly to the “Reporting and DWE” team leader.
Functional relations
2. Reports to the project manager.

III. Responsibilities
General responsibilities

The jobholder: – Is in charge of the accurate and effective and completion of tasks. – Maintains the technical and reporting documentation relating to his/her immediate duties in a proper, updated and authoritative condition. – Respect company’s policies

IV. Competences – Mastery of SQL – Good command with PL/SQL – Practical experience in designing application software on Oracle RDBMS – Practical experience with Oracle Discoverer and/or BI Publisher – Knowledge of Oracle

V. Required knowledge and skills – Studies –informatics, computer science and technologies, information and management engineering, mathematics. – Vocational field –informatics, mathematics, engineering studies, testing, – Experience – Practical experience in programming

VI. Additional qualifications: – Good command of English and/or French – Knowledge or experience in legal, finance or economic areas
